the traveller

The sky extends

the warmth the sun offers her,

and the ocean

reflects their communion.

She sends wave

after wave until

the traveller surrenders,

and the children

come out from hiding.

The rain arrives

all out of breath,

and the exhausted

sky falls to sleep.

The traveller puts down

their hunger

and lets the ocean

lull them

in her caress.
